We’ve worked with police forces across the UK and Ireland on motorcycle conversions of all shapes and sizes. From blood bikes to traffic units, unmarked to fully liveried, our in-house installation team has delivered reliable, high-quality builds that reflect the operational needs of our customers. So it’s great to see that work recognised with our appointment to the BlueLight Commercial national framework for vehicle conversions (BLC0157).
This framework enables police and other blue light services to access approved suppliers who meet the highest standards for vehicle conversion. And for Woodway, that recognition comes in our work converting motorcycles – an area where we’ve consistently delivered quality results.
What sets our motorcycle conversions apart?
Every vehicle we build can be tailored to a customer’s specific requirements. That might mean the blues and two and full livery of a standard fleet bike. Or it could mean a one-off build requiring bespoke solutions, high-level integration, or discreet equipment for covert or escort operations. Engineering-led installation
Our on-site engineering capabilities mean we don’t just fit products – we can design and manufacture custom bracketry and components that integrate perfectly with the bike. Whether it’s ensuring the lighting follows the curvature of a fairing, or designing a mount for equipment that doesn’t yet exist on the market, we don’t believe in compromise.
Experienced technicians
Our installation team has worked on almost every make and model of motorcycle in police use. And if we haven’t worked on a specific bike before, we use 3D scanning and digital modelling to create a clean, reliable fit. From dash cams to control systems, top cases to wiring looms – we’ve done it all, and we know how to make it last.
