At Woodway, we are making every effort to continue operating through these difficult times, as we understand the importance of supporting the Emergency Services throughout the UK and those associated critical emergency service suppliers.
Whilst we continue to remain operational in order to carry out our necessary work, the protection of our staff is our priority. Woodway have put in a number of measures, following government guidelines, to ensure the safety of our staff without impacting on the service provided to our customers.
Woodway have put measures in place to allow those staff who can operate from home to do so.
We are lucky to work in a spacious manufacturing facility, meaning workspaces have been spread out to ensure maximum space and minimum contact between staff members in the office, production area, installation and stores. Our efforts to ensure a 2m distance is kept at all times, only one member of staff is permitted in areas such as the kitchen at any one time.
All facilities continue to be thoroughly cleaned daily, with a heightened cleaning regime which includes a focus on high contacts areas such as door handles and kitchen appliances.
No external visitors are allowed into our premises at this time, unless absolutely essential, with the exception of scheduled courier collections and deliveries.
Woodway have cancelled all face to face meetings, and new meetings will not be organised until such time as it is safe to do so. Staff have access to video conferencing facilities, which are being used both internally, and externally with customers allowing meetings and conferencing to continue through this time. Should you wish to meet with one of our UK Key Account Managers, they can be reached on their mobiles, and, where needed, arrangements for a video conference can be made.
Update: From week commencing 29th June, Woodway’s Account Managers will be available for you to book a visit. There will continue to be no casual drop in, just scheduled appointments. Please feel free to contact Nick and Paul if you have a specific requirement you feel requires a visit to your premises.
We have had no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Woodway. Any staff who experience any symptoms, or whose household members experience symptoms, are supported by the company in self-isolating at home for two weeks.
|Our sales staff are in the office taking your calls as normal. Emails remain unaffected with all staff, including those working remotely, having email access to respond easily.||Stock levels remain good, with regular weekly air freights arriving on schedule.|
|All of our regular delivery options continue to be available, with daily courier collections. No major delays have been reported by customers.||Meetings are being held remotely through video conferencing, with face to face meetings cancelled.|
